Repair and rehabilitation
we offer a broad scope of repairs and rehabilitation services
Storm drains need to be cleaned out regularly. If storm drains are backed up, this can cause a lot of water damage to the rest of your property, and it might even affect other parts of your plumbing and sewer system.
With conventional repair methods, plumbers will insist that the entire ground be dug up to clean out and repair a storm drain. But Flotech has the equipment and experience to have trenchless sewer repair and pipe rehabilitation techniques, whereby ensuring that the majority of the landscape is kept intact.
Sectional CIPP
A Sectional Cured In Place Pipe (SCIPP) can save you thousands on your next pipe repair job. It is a resin-saturated felt tube made of polyester, fiberglass cloth or a number of other materials suitable for resin impregnation, is inverted or pulled into a damaged pipe.
Little to no digging is involved in this trenchless process, making for a potentially more cost-effective and less disruptive method than traditional “dig and replace” pipe repair methods.
Chemical grout Sealing
Flotech has over 30 years experience in chemical grouting and sealing of sewer pipes and structures, and is an authorized installer for the leading chemical grout manufacturers.
The company also has a large fleet of grout trucks available to support clients on a regularly scheduled or emergency basis.
Manhole Rehabilitation
Flotech performs an array of manhole rehabilitation services. We are certified installers and applicators for the major coating manufacturers of calcium aluminate, cementitious and epoxy type coatings.
soil stabilization
Soil stabilization is a procedure wherein the engineering properties of the soil are altered and enhanced to increase its suitability for construction purposes. In civil engineering, soil stabilization is a technique to refine and improve the engineering properties of soils such as mechanical strength, permeability, compressibility, durability and plasticity. Physical or mechanical improvement is common, but some individuals prefer to use the term ‘stabilization’ in reference to chemical improvements in the soil properties by adding chemical admixtures.
internal joint seals
Internal joint seals prevent water infiltration in underground pipes. The devices create a watertight compression to stop groundwater from infiltrating into the storm or sanitary sewer lines as well as any existing flow from the sewer exfiltrating out into the ground water table. Flotech has extensive experience and knowledge with the installation of internal joint seals ranging in size form 24” to 96” for municipalities throughout Florida.
